Summer Is Always the Worst Time of the Year
Summer is always the worst time of the year,Worse than the deep and cold winter, I fear.
In summer there's people all walking about
With nose in the air, and face in a pout.
How haughty they are, and filled with such pride -
They walk with an arrogant bounce in their stride.
You don't see this behavior in April or May,
So why, of all seasons, is summer this way?
Because, my good friends, if you will recall,
Pride, when it comes, always comes before Fall.
