"As we give thanks we remember Thanksgiving past"
Thanksgiving - A Month Early
"As we all gather around our screens throughout the country today I hope the whole family will join me in giving thanks to the higher power on this Thanksgiving Day. Please join me in prayer: Dear Microsoft we thank you for this opportunity to bring our family together on this holiday. We know without you we would all have to commute to be able to get with family and friends. We also wish to thank you for these fine Thanksgiving Day Supplements that we take today. Please be with our whole family. Amen""As special treat today we have Grandpa with us. The home has reanimated him so he could join us electronically. Welcome Grandpa we are all hoping that you will tell us some of the horrors of Thanksgiving Day celebrations from olden times."
"I do remember the old Thanksgiving Days. We would all sit around the same table and eat real food that was prepared in a room called a kitchen. Everyone would bring something to eat and the table would have so many wondrous item you wouldn't know what to eat first. First we would pray and give thanks to a real God, we would go around the table and each person would say what he was thankful for."
"After dinner we would all go to the kitchen and help clean up and then go into the front room and watch football on a screen they called TV. Then later we would eat pie for dessert. We would all be so full you could hardly move. As everybody left to go home they would take leftovers with them to enjoy the rest of the weekend."
"As you can see Grandpa gets a little too excited when he thinks about the olden days. Nurse can you wipe the spittle off of his chin he is salivating again. What Junior? No he is not making this up, that is the way people use to act. Well I hope this horror story didn't put you off your meal."
" So if we are ready let us take our Turkey Pills first. Lets everyone say together::
"HAPPY THANKSGIVING"
