A Tale of 3/4 Puns or PU

I would like to tell you about my sister Emma. She had a boyfriend with a wooden leg but she broke it off. She called her next boyfriend a backward poet because he wrote inverse. He often broke into song because he couldn't find the key. Emma then started dating John Calendar but I knew it wouldn't last because every calendar's days are numbered. She said she loved her next boyfriend but stopped seeing him when he lost all of his toes in a mowing accident, I think she is lack-toes intolerant. Then there was Max, he didn't like to climb the hill to our house, he's always been a bit of an anti-climb Max. Max and I used to play ball, you know I always wondered why the ball got bigger as it came nearer to you, and then it hit me. Max and Emma had a shotgun wedding, you know wife or death. With her marriage, my sis got a new name and a dress. After the honeymoon they opened a restaurant called "The Moon" it had good food but no atmosphere.
