"Some years are harder to be thankful for "
A Thanksgiving Tradition
As we dine at our house it always been a traditionWe go round the table each person takes a turn
We all give our thanks no matter our condition
Say what you will cept, sad thoughts we spurn
While we all wait to dine some say affirmation
I can't call it grace, cause it not nearly as stern
So thanks be to god for the fates that astound us
We know we're not worthy for riches he bestow
Next year we'll do better for that we will promise
Now let us all eat while our souls still do glow
