George Washington Press Conference

Hello this is White House deputy press Secretary Bill Burton, allow me to welcome you all to President George Washington's first live press conference. President Washington will now take a few questions after he delivers a short speech.
Thank you Mr. President for that inspiring speech and now we will turn the floor to the press.
George Searns, Washington Post; Mr. President, did can you justify your clandestine midnight attack on the British without fair warning and after sneaking across the Potomac River?
I felt we would have lost the battle if we had given the British a fair warning.
Mr. President, Miss Judy Warren from the New York Times; Can you explain the exorbitant bill you presented to congress for your work in the war?
Well I did lead our country in the battle for their independence and I do not feel I asked for more than I earned.
John Paul, Orange County Register; Sir why did you not continue your attack on to the north and rid our continent once and for all of the scourge of the British?
I beg your pardon do you mean Canada? Yes, well they are an independent nation whose borders we recognize and besides whatever would we do with all that snow. I mean we tried to give them Buffalo but they refused.
Hi Mr. President, Sally Mack TMZ; Can you tell the world what we all really want to know, boxers or briefs?
