Writer's Block, or Punch a Time Clock?

We like to write, we really do
We also know, we'll nar be the Bard
Sometimes the lines won't come , and the words are few
The reward is low, and the work is hard
Yet we carry on, for it's what we do
If the words won't come, and the page is blank
Just keep trying, and think of this clue
No matter what, it beats working in a bank
