"Will the weather ever cool"
Changing Seasons -mean something different out here
The weathers achanging across the nationKids back in school it's the end of vacation
The leaves turning gold as they wait for the bus
What this all means is that falls soon upon us
They're all wearing hoodies and pants that are long
Out here in the west falls quite different, it's wrong
It's still really hot and the winds drive us crazy
The hillsides are burning and the skies all hazy
Cooler nights, leaves of color it's the fall in my dream
But for us it's still hot for months it would seem
