High School Horror

I think back on high school and days filled with strife
The pressure, the hormones, yet it was the time of my life
For me school wasn't learning, no it wasn't about studies
I was there to cause trouble and hang out with my buddies
You see I was Joe Kool I had no problems, and no worries
I passed all my classes with no work sailing along with ease
I was having too much fun, why study if they still give you cees
It all came down my senior year I met a girl with long shinny hair
I can still see her brown pony tail bouncing lively as she walked
I was in love in an instant and my life changed as we talked
I wanted marriage and babies and a good life in our future
The good times were gone, cut so bad I needed a suture
For the rest of my life I've worked hard just making a living
I've found, that not working in school was a sin unforgiven
