Christmas Smells

The smells of Christmas always made me jolly
From lush green pine trees to boughs of holly
It made me think that I lived deep in the forest
We loved those times and loved life with a zest
Alas, tis a modern world that we live in today
Where a real tree's a sin that causes urban decay
With a fake plastic tree in a tiny fake stand
Now our Christmas scents all come from a can
