Mothers Present a United Front

The leaflets goal was as plain as good be
A call to all moms across both land and the sea
Put down your brooms and take up the fight
Mothers of the world lets all go on strike
It's not money we want no that's not the fix
That one day not enough out of three sixty six
Around the world came the cry and hue
This cannot happen it just won't do
Mom, help me find that shirt that I like
I'm sorry dear son but I've just gone on strike
The world is crippled and soon may collapse
But it was a tug on the heartstrings that started the synapse
For it is the love of a mother that makes her do what she does
So tell her you love her for that makes her heart buzz
