A Visitor from far Away

With cerulean skies and lush valleys so green
It was the prettiest planet I had ever seen
On landing I saw what the others had warned
All the blight and infection it made me forlorn
There were billions of vermin all over the lands
With great big heads and small tiny hands
They called themselves humans and cared not for this land
They sullied the water, and turned mountains to sand
The wonder of this is that they think they are smart
The waste of their resources just breaks my heart
Sure there is beauty but the humans don't care
Earth's a nice place to visit but I couldn't live there
