Pop Goes On
By Jupiter!!! I don't know why my Pop is always so fussy. I hand him the Coke can and he blandly glances in my general direction before refusing it.Apparently I had interrupted his diatribe on cannibalism and economics of the 19th century. Who knew that head hunters caused the collapse of the world's financial systems in May 1875?
Now, don't think I haven't studied 19th century monetary issues, I have, though apparent to me now, somewhat incompletely. It's just that my Pop seems to believe he has a license to pontificate on the topic ad nauseam.
He would be thunderstruck if he realized just how much of it I retained. The calories from the extra soda I mean.
