I could probably make that part of the dialog that opens up at the end of levels, and when you lose a life.

Can you figure out what the circumstances are? For example, does it happen after you get a game message box? Or after your snake dies? Or after you've done something else?

Some thing is off with adders today. When I paused it then unpaused it it got faster.

Remember, the pause feature is going to go away, so you shouldn't be using it anyway!

No. I mean the one on the sheet when you die. Or is that going to?

And when I looked at the scores it said I had played in the passed 24 hour. But I have not.

Hmmm...I'll have to look at that - are you sure it was on the 'you died' screen? Is it possible it was on a level-up screen? Because the adder does speed up as you get further in the levels. (Unless you start out at ludicrous speed, in which case it shouldn't ever speed up from that).
The scores only update when someone plays a game. So if no one played in the last x hours, then those lists are x hours behind the times. That's an issue that'll go away when there are a lot more people on the site. :)

I started out at ludicrous. And now that I think about it it was the level-up

I may have made it so it ludicrous isn't actually the last speed - I'll have to look at that. Any idea what level you were at?

6 I think

At level 9 it speed-ed up. I was on my last life.

Yes. I have confirmed that this is how it works. Once you pass level 8, it will speed up after every level!
That was actually a programming oversight, but I see no reason to change it - if you can make it that far, it's time to make it more challenging!

I think something is up with this change on adders. When I played I had a delayed death as in the adder hit a wall and I could still move it.

"this change?" What change? Can you elaborate more on what happened, please?

did you remove the 24hour score?
Douglas
posted by Douglas on Sep 22, 7:28 AM
Yes, that has been removed for now, because there aren't enough people playing while logged in to make the 24-hour list meaningful. Most of the games there were just two or three people listed.
Eventually those will get added back in for some of the games, as more people are playing them while logged in!
